We are the voice of political prisoners,
Sanaz Allahyari, Amir Amirgholi and Amir Hossein Mohammadifard!
The detainees of the GAM publication must be released unconditionally!
According to news released on July 4, 2019, political prisoners Sanaz Allahyari and Amir HosseinMohammadifard, editorial embers of the GAM magazine, went on hunger strike. They are on hunger strike to raise awareness to the imprisonment of the Haft Tappeh Sugar Cane workers.
Sanaz Allahayari and Amir Hossein Mohammadifard are not in good physical condition. The Islamic Republic is directly responsible for the health and life of these two political prisoners.
The members of the editorial board of the GAM magazine have written articles in defense of workers generally, in particular of Ahvaz Steel workers and the Hafttappeh Sugar Cane workers.
They have been in prison for months. With imprisonment of these political activists, the Islamic Republic of Iran simply wants to spread fear in society. However, protests in society are increasing every day.
These political activists have been accused of acting against national security and creating political groups to undermine national security. These are well known practices of the Islamic Republic of Iran in order to justify suppression of protests and political activists.
Activists defending the rights of workers, teachers, women, students and children are regularly persecuted and imprisoned by the Islamic Republic of Iran.
The Islamic Republic has no right to imprison activists for celebrating International Workers Day, International Teachers Day, defending Workers’, Women’s and children’s right.
Political prisoner must be released immediately and unconditionally!
