On the occasion of the International Day in Support of Political Prisoners

Repression, imprisonment and torture of human rights activists in Iran and other countries of the region have become a daily practice. Thousands in these countries are prosecuted, imprisoned and tortured solely for the ‘crime’ of expressing their opinions, helping victims of war and social problems, and striving for a better world.
Meanwhile, millions of freedom-loving people, many trade unions and humanitarian organizations around the world expose and protest against these crimes against humanity and echo the voices of political prisoners and their families around the world.
This year, on the occasion of the International Day in Support of Political Prisoners in Iran, we are the voice of political prisoners in Iran, Turkey, Morocco, and Palestine. We are the voice of those who fight for freedom and justice.
