Haft tapeh(sugar-cane) workers have stopped working for more than three weeks in protest against non-payment of their wages and privatization of the company. Workers today, Wednesday, November 28 gathered in front of the building of the governorate of Shush on the fulfillment of their previous demands.

The Islamic state out of fear and desperation arrested number of leaders and representatives of the workers protesters ,But in the wake of massive protests and a nationwide support and organizations of teachers, students, workers and the public the arrest of representatives of workers and pressure on the Islamic Republic, , all the detainees were released except Ismail bakhshi.
During these protests and strikes, Ismail bakhshi was not the only representative of the Haft-Tape sugar cane workers; he was the voice of the suffering and protesting people whose tables is empty following the theft, bribery, and corruption of a corrupt and predatory government, and today they have nothing to lose.
The arrest of Ismail is Hostage from the Islamic Republic against the right of fed up workers and people.
